Tool & Die Technician South Charleston, WV Direct-Hire / Permanent Position $19-24 per hour Adecco direct hire group is assisting a client located in SouthCharleston, WV in filling the position of a Tool & Die Technician.

This position will allow you to use your talent as a Tool & Diemaker in a fast-paced, high-tech work environment specializing inthe automotive industry. Our client is a world leader in stampedautomotive parts. They operate in 20 countries with 96manufacturing plants and 12 R D facilities.

Total compensationpackage includes:

Excellent starting wages; Medical, Dental andVision benefits; 401K and vacation time. As a Tool & Die Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Die set-up per GWV standards
• Use of machining equipment to include: Mills, Welders, Grindersand Precision Hand Tools
• Read and understand blueprints and engineering changes
• Fabricate new and repair existing fixtures for robotic weld cells,spot weld cells and assembly pieces
• Troubleshoot and preventative maintenance of tools, dies, jigs andfixtures

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in the Tool & Die industry – preferably inthe Stamping industry
• Journeyman?s certification or comparable experience
• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends as needed as wellas overtime hours
• Ability to accurately read blueprints, schematics and changerequests
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs This is a permanent position with a starting wage of $19-24 perhour and company benefits.

Applicants should be willing to work1st, 2nd or 3rd shift as needed. Overtime will be required as theplant is extremely busy.
