Gunsmith Confidential Nashville, TN 37210 Gunsmith Nashville-based firearms retailer is seeking a professional Gunsmith to help assemble triggers and troubleshoot, repair, and customize a variety of different firearms. The ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge of handguns and firearms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to install, modify, and test every part.
• Must be able to perform polymer frame modifications including trigger undercuts, grip modifications, etc.
• Builds top quality custom guns crafted to perfection to be beautiful works of art with the highest level of functionality and the highest quality standards.
• Handles custom work with extreme care to avoid scratches and damage to finish.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, disassembles, and reassembles a variety of firearms.
• Performs fire and function tests.
• Installs custom parts.
• Installs, tests, and troubleshoots Red Dot Optics for customer slides and in-house custom builds.
• Cleans and inspects firearms.
• Cleans and maintains work area, equipment, and tools.
• Follows all safety protocols and complies with all applicable state and federal laws.
• Possesses excellent, comprehensive knowledge of the tools (i.

e. hammers, punches, files, dremels, etc.) and gauges needed to perform assigned duties.

Requirements:

• 3 or more years as a paid Armorer

Gunsmith School:

2 years (Preferred)

• Gunsmith certification
• Certified Armorer preferred
• Knowledge of gunsmith tools and procedures
• Safe firearms handling skills
• Must be friendly and a team player.
• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods
• Candidate must be able to legally purchase a handgun, must be able to legally possess and work around firearms, and candidate must be able to pass a DOJ/FBI background check and drug test.
