Tooling Technician Position Available In Giles, Tennessee

Tooling Technician M&M Staffing, LLC Pulaski, TN 38478 M & M Staffing, LLC is looking to fill a Full- Time Tooling Technician position for Afternoons and Midnight shift located in Pulaski, TN. This job description has been prepared as a guide to ensure better communication, clear expectations and understanding of the role of Tooling Technician. All responsibilities have not been included, Supervisors, may from time to time ask of Tooling Technician to perform other related duties not specifically included in this description. This description will be reviewed annually by the Department Manager and revised if needed to meet the business needs of the client.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all molding tools.
• Perform all tooling repairs that the client is equipped to handle.
• Inspect new tools according to the clients standards.
• Ability to operate milling machine, lathe, band saw, and other tool shop machinery.
• Maintain all related documentation to TS16949 standards.
• Safely operate crane to handle tools.
• Must troubleshoot and diagnose tooling issues.
• Must be able to climb and crawl to make adjustments to tools while in press.
• Maintain all standard work including Mold Tag System, Mold Storage Standards, etc.
• Ensure there are no quality or production interruptions or errors due to lack of giving or seeking information.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures as well as safety rules 100% of the time.
• Take action to promptly correct or remove all workplace hazards and unsafe work conditions.
• Provide information, instruction and supervision to Employees, to protect health and safety of the Employee.
• Carry and enforce the clients workplace safety guidelines and health and safety statement.
• Ensure first aid treatment is given to an injured employee immediately and further assistance, including medical is sought immediately.
• Ensure safety concerns that arise from safety incidents, accidents or safety meetings are corrected immediately.
• Cooperate, participate and lead corrective actions in conjunction with health and safety committee, continuous improvement team and other departments within facility.
• Contribute to a work environment free from harassment, where fairness, equality and non-discriminatory practices are standard

$26.78 – $33.65 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Night shift Overnight shift
