Job Responsibilities:
KNOWLEDGE
General knowledge of troubleshooting, materials and methods, machines and tools, and practical application of toolingSound understanding and knowledge of diework/operationsSound understanding and machine knowledge, able to run all tool room equipment including measuring instrumentsSound understanding and knowledge of Press and Assembly Operations and Quality proceduresMust be able to provide own toolsMust have basic knowledge of drafting (blueprint reading, dimension drawings, etc.)Basic knowledge in automationComputer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
EDUCATION
High School diploma or GEDPost-secondary education preferred in tool and die
TECHNICAL TRAINING
Minimum of two years on-the-job training with heavy industrial manufacturing experience in skilled trade capacity
WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years experience in tool and die capacity
ADDITIONAL SKILLS OR ABILITIES WOULD BE HELPFUL FOR THE JOB
Journeyman Certification is a plus##
