We are activelyseeking a dynamic, highly skilled Permanent Tooling Technician tojoin our fast-paced, innovative engineering team. This role isintegral to ensuring the smooth operation and continuousimprovement of our manufacturing processes. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, andimproving our tooling assets, contributing significantly to ouroperational efficiency and product quality. This position requiresan individual with a keen eye for detail, a problem-solvingmindset, and a deep understanding of tooling systems and equipment.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Tooling Technician, your primaryresponsibilities will include: 1. Maintaining and repairing varioustooling systems to ensure optimal performance and minimizedowntime. 2. Conducting regular inspections and diagnostic tests ontooling equipment to detect malfunctions early. 3. Troubleshootingand resolving issues with tooling systems in a timely and efficientmanner. 4. Collaborating with the engineering team to develop andimplement improvements to tooling systems, contributing to enhancedproductivity and product quality. 5. Documenting all toolingmaintenance and repair activities, ensuring accurate records arekept for future reference. 6. Complying with all safety regulationsand maintaining a clean and safe work environment. 7. Assisting inthe training and development of junior technicians, sharingknowledge and expertise. 8. Staying up-to-date with the latesttooling technologies and industry best practices, continuallyenhancing your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

To beconsidered for the Permanent Tooling Technician role, candidatesmust have the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years’experience in a tooling technician role within the engineeringindustry. 2. Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolvingissues with tooling systems and equipment. 3. A strongunderstanding of tooling technologies and manufacturing processes.4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to thinkquickly and perform under pressure. 5. Strong communication andteamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively withcolleagues at all levels. 6. Proficiency in using various tools andequipment necessary for the maintenance and repair of toolingsystems. 7. A strong commitment to safety, ensuring all work iscarried out in accordance with safety regulations. 8. A relevanttechnical qualification is preferred, but not essential.
