We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented metalworker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of dies used in production processes. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in manufacturing and machining, with opportunities for growth and skill development. Duties Review and analyze die specifications to ensure compliance with design requirements. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances. Assemble and fabricate dies according to engineering schematics and specifications. Collaborate with senior machinists to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions. Conduct routine maintenance on dies and associated machinery to ensure optimal performance. Document all measurements, adjustments, and modifications made during the correction process. Assist in programming tasks related to CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) as needed. Skills Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Strong ability to assemble and fabricate components accurately. Experience using various grinders Experience operating a mill Understanding of machining processes and techniques. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
