Qualifications/Expectations:
Read and understand blue prints Operate conventional mills, lathe, grinders, drill press to required specification
CNC EDM, MILL
operation ability a plus Progressive die repair Build and repair die sections Build and repair jigs and fixtures Assist in daily operations of the department Basic computer skills : example Excel, Access Above average mechanical aptitude Strong organizational skills Effective decision making capacity Commitment to Quality Good work record, with a positive ‘make happen’ attitude Above average attendance history Ability to take direction Self-motivated; above average problem solving skills
Requirements:
Vocational degree in Machine Tool Technology or 3 yrs. minimum in tooling craftsman experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to reach with hands and arms Ability to stand and walk for the required shift Repetitively lift and move up to 35 pounds
