Journeyman Tool and Die Maker Flexible Metal Products Mount Juliet, TN 37122 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, and maintaining precision tools, dies, and fixtures used in the production process. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various materials, including metals . Duties Design and fabricate tools, dies, and fixtures based on engineering specifications and schematics. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to ensure accuracy in dimensions. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve tooling designs for enhanced efficiency. Troubleshoot and repair existing tools and dies to minimize downtime in production. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proficiency in math skills for precise measurements and calculations. Familiarity with stamping presses and the ability to operate them safely. Knowledge of tooling fabrication techniques and materials used in die making. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
