Job Description:

Patient Care Expediter Rutland-VT-05701-United States Works incooperation with nursing staff and under the direction of theemergency physicians providing timely, efficient and effectiveacute care of patients utilizing a team model. Performs careincluding assessments, treatments and medication administration toemergency department patients utilizing skills based on theNational Scope of Practice for Paramedics. Minimum Education

• HSDiploma or equivalent.
• Completion of accredited paramediceducation program. Minimum Work Experience
• 3 years as apre-hospital care provider required, experience as a Critical CareParamedic preferred.
• Experience with immobilization andstabilization procedures a plus. Required Licenses/Certifications
• Basic airway skills.
• Immobilization skills.
• IV therapy skills
• Oxygen and ventilation administration skills.
• Bleeding controland shock management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectivelyand document information accurately.
• Ability to move or liftpatients and equipment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in providingcritical care, knowledge, and skills.
• Demonstrated moderateknowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Demonstrated moderate knowledgeof basic computer skills.

Pay Range:
