Required Work Monday-Friday (Up to 50 hours per week) with availability on the occasional Saturday. Smart Phone or other mobile device for communication and data logging applications. 5 Years previous experience in the Water and Sewer Utility installation and repair field. Skills Work experience in a leadership role in any capacity (foreman, supervisor, crew lead, etc.). Extensive knowledge of grades, layout, and plan reading. Equipment Operation – Excavator, Bulldozer, Skid Steer, Front End Loader, Roller, and other equipment as needed. Responsibilities Show up to work on time. Plan and direct construction activities. Read and interpret plans and specifications in order to complete the scope of work. Coordinate with inspectors, engineers, and/or prime contractors. Coordinate material deliveries for the scope of work to ensure no delays in the progress of work. Meet deadlines and production goals. Inspect vehicles and equipment for mechanical problems and safety issues and preform preventative maintenance. Motivate and direct crew efficiently to complete tasks. Hire and fire crew members as desired or necessary to ensure a positive work environment. Report any problems or discrepancies identified in the field immediately to supervisor. Technical Skills Desired (Not Required) Class A/B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with no restrictions. Microsoft Word/Excel, Adobe PDF and QuickBooks Time Experience.
