Water Treatment Technicians install, maintain and troubleshoot water treatment equipment that is located in homes and businesses. It is not a sales or commission based role. The Apprentice Program has been designed to teach you the essential skills of this trade with hands on real word training with experienced technicians, factory trainings as well as computer based educational tools. As you progress through the Apprentice program you will start to earn more money and be on a long term trajectory for career growth in this exciting and rapidly growing skilled trade. Your trajectory of income growth will be based upon how quickly you learn the essential skills to be successful in this role. For those technicians that qualify we will also pay for professional certification with the Water Quality Association. The successful candidate will have a strong customer service orientation, mechanical aptitude, will be organized and focused, enjoy working with their hands, being out in the field interacting with customers, and solving problems as well as being in an environment that requires continuous learning as the industry and technologies are developing rapidly.

Required work experience:

• Minimum 1 year of technical field experience required.

Water treatment, plumbing, commercial maintenance and/or automotive service/repair preferred. Experience in electrical, carpentry or other mechanical industry accepted.

Required:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. No infractions for at least 5 years. No DUI convictions.
• Clean criminal record. Must undergo background check.
• Ability to lift 60lbs on a regular basis and 100lbs occasionally.
• Desire to work hard outside in the elements

Hours:

• Monday through Friday, starting at 7:30am in NW Gainesville.
• Average 40 hours per week Responsibilities Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of water treatment systems.

Utilize hand and power tools to perform tasks efficiently and safely. Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Develop mechanical knowledge through hands-on training and mentorship.
