Role Purpose Statement The SanitationSupervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the sanitationprogram at the assigned Customer Service Center (CSC) to ensurecompliance with all current food safety standards and regulations.

This role plays a key part in implementing, monitoring, andverifying sanitation and food safety systems. Working on theovernight shift , the Sanitation Supervisor ensures that sanitationactivities are effectively executed, documented, and continuouslyimproved. They are responsible for verifying sanitationeffectiveness, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner,and ensuring all staff are properly trained and competent insanitation practices. This position also champions a strong foodsafety culture by promoting sanitation awareness across teams andensuring alignment with all preventive control programs, includingpolicies, SOPs, SSOPs, cleaning schedules, and associateddocumentation. Main Accountabilities Generic SupervisorResponsibility Ensure compliance with all government regulatoryagencies’ standards (for example, Food and Drug Administration(FDA), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), OccupationalSafety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental ProtectionAdministration (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), HazardAnalysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), etc.) Ensurecompliance with customer specifications, corporate food safety,quality standards, and regional food safety and take appropriatecorrective actions when needed. Inspecting the manufacturingprocess to determine sanitation protocols, considering the bestsolutions regarding processes, tools, technologies, scheduling,etc. Coordinating and monitoring Cleaning Schedules and MasterSanitation Schedules (MSS) Monitor and verify the sanitationprogram by performing daily inspections of the manufacturingfacility and reporting and escalating any irregularities. Createand distribute work schedules for the sanitation staff. Create andensure the pre-operations process is being conducted to ensuresanitary standards are met prior to production being initiated.

Monitor the preparation and use of cleaning chemicals. Keep “Rightto Know” stations / Safety Data Sheets (SDS) current and compliant.

Orchestrate and conduct annual chemical, SSOP, and all otherCSC-specific training required. Establish and maintain effectiveworking relationships with internal stakeholders across allfunctions. Monitor and ensure compliance with the applicable foodsafety, CCPs, oPRPs, and PRPs. Monitor, maintain and verify allsanitation records for correctness and completeness.
