Job Summary:
As a Waste Treatment Operator Trainee, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring the wastewater treatment systems to ensure smooth, efficient operation. This position will require regular attendance, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn through hands-on training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
include the following: Regular attendance is a requirement that is key to performing the job.
Operates/Monitors Waste Treatment Systems:
1. Check ph levels in all the tanks. 2. Check flow rates. 3. Fills chemical tanks as needed. 4. Keep the platform clean on the system. Check for oil and air leaks. Forklift Operator 1. Transport sludge from both systems to the dryer room. 2. Responsible for shoveling hoppers at the vibratory system and clean the floors and under the platform. 3. Keep all three areas clean of empty close top drums, open barrels, and water from the tool room. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Ability to solve practical chemical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
