Job Summary We’re looking for a motivated Water & Wastewater Maintenance Technician to join our field operations team. The ideal candidate has experience working with lift stations, water plants, wastewater treatment systems, and general utility maintenance. Responsibilities Perform routine and emergency maintenance on water and wastewater systems (lift stations, pumps, valves, chlorine systems, etc.) Install and repair pumps, motors, piping, and controls Assist in water meter installs and utility locates Monitor system operations and assist operators as needed Complete service reports and communicate issues with the team Respond to emergency calls and after-hours work when scheduled Safely operate work trucks, tools, and equipment Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Valid Florida driver’s license 1+ year of experience in utility maintenance, plumbing, or similar field Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills FDEP water/wastewater collection or ditribution license is a plus, but not required Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or on a team Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid training and licensing opportunities PTO and paid holidays Advancement potential within the company How to
