Expected Schedule:

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 6am-6pm Job Summary The Sanitation Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the facility. This position is responsible for overseeing sanitation operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and leading a team of sanitation staff to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in housekeeping management, particularly within the hospitality or commercial cleaning sectors. Duties Manage daily sanitation operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned and sanitized according to established protocols. Supervise and train sanitation staff, providing guidance on best practices for cleaning and hygiene. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Launder cleaning materials and uniforms as needed to maintain cleanliness standards. Develop and implement sanitation schedules to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning efforts during events or peak times. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are met. Address any sanitation-related issues or concerns promptly and effectively. Skills Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams in a custodial or housekeeping environment. Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and procedures, particularly within food production settings. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Effective communication skills for training staff and collaborating with other departments. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, fostering a positive work environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Prior sanitation supervisory experience in food production plant required.
