Reports any operational deficiencies to supervisor. Maintaining adequate chemical supplies for daily operations. Maintains daily logs and records. Checks all equipment. Performs preventive maintenance. Performs minor laboratory work. Answers telephone calls and dispatches emergency crew. Monitors and operates computers for alarms and proper operation of wastewater plant. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Licensed Wastewater Operator. Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and equipment. Ability to lift heavy objects and operate heavy equipment. Familiarity with logic controllers and distributed control systems. Knowledge of plumbing systems and water treatment processes. Basic math skills. Ability to analyze data and identify potential issues. Physical stamina to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
