Food Sanitation Supervisor NutraSky Alpharetta, GA 30005 Overview The Food Sanitation plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of food products throughout the production and processing stages. This position involves a combination of food production, sanitation, and custodial tasks to maintain a clean and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding food/supplement safety standards. Duties Oversee food/dietary supplement production processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Sanitize work areas, equipment, and tools to prevent contamination. Perform commercial cleaning tasks within the facility, including industrial cleaning of production areas. Assist in food processing operations, including fabrication and preparation of ingredients. Maintain cleanliness in warehouse areas, ensuring proper organization of supplies and materials. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any cleanliness or safety issues. Support heavy lifting tasks as needed during food production and inventory management. Skills 5+ years Experience in food production or processing environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations. Proficiency in commercial cleaning techniques, including custodial duties. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Familiarity with warehouse operations and industrial cleaning methods. Use and inventory of proper cleaning chemicals for each cleaning job Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Abililty to manage other employees and supervise cleaning efforts.
