Operator III Position Available In Thomas, Georgia

Operator III The City of Thomasville Thomasville, GA 31792 This position is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of any of the Water/Wastewater Treatment, or Lift Station areas, as assigned. Makes routine checks on a variety of equipment and records information as required. Performs a variety of operational tasks, some of which include wasting, pumping, sampling, transferring, supernating, skimming, washing, etc. Performs analytical tests and calculations to insure proper process control of the treatment plant. Makes process control adjustments in response to lab results. Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment. Maintains buildings and grounds as required. Records information and fills out reports. Must work with lift station personnel on occasion.
