PW Operations Tech I Beau Chene Homeowners Association LLC 105 Beau Chene Boulevard, Mandeville, LA 70471 Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and motivated PW Operations Technician I to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of public infrastructure systems including water distribution, wastewater treatment, stormwater management, and street repair. This is a hands-on field position reporting to the Assistant Public Works Director or Lead Operator. Responsibilities Respond to customer requests and issues related to water, sewage, drainage, and street systems Assist in water main and service line repairs and replacements Perform daily operations and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment systems Operate and maintain sewer lift stations Conduct inspections, maintain tools and equipment Record and report data per local, state, and federal compliance standards Work independently or as part of a crew in various weather conditions Represent the organization with professionalism and strong customer service skills Participate in weekend, after-hours, and on-call rotations as scheduled Perform other public works duties as assigned Qualifications Valid driver’s license High School diploma or GED required Must obtain Class II Water and/or Wastewater Operator License (LDH approved) within 24 months of hire date. Dual certification preferred Minimum 2 years’ experience in water or wastewater systems Proficiency with hand and power tools Comfortable with physical labor and lifting up to 50 lbs Ability to interpret technical data, follow procedures, and maintain accurate records Availability for on-call, weekend, and overtime work as needed Working Conditions Outdoor work in all weather conditions Exposure to loud equipment, chemicals, confined spaces, and potential biohazards Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, and lift regularly throughout the workday Join us as an PW Operations Technician I and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality performance while ensuring operational excellence.
