Performs safe operation of dump trucks and variety of labor tasks associated with the operation and maintenance of the public water system.

Progressive pay schedule:

Operator 1: union pay scale starting at step 1: $30.06; progressing to step 2 at completion of probation period (3 months) $31.01; progressing to step 3 at one year anniversary: $31.96; and annual step increases on anniversary thereafter until longevity steps; additional annual COLA July 1.

Additional available financial benefits include:

Following completion of training and probationary period, position is eligible for “on-call” pay on a rotating schedule. On-call pay is 21 hours at straight time rate plus overtime rate if response is required.

Annual stipends:

Work Zone safety $400; annual CDL licensing stipend of $1,000; annual Hoisting licensing stipend of $500 CDL examination reimbursement up to $5,000

Reimbursements:
