This is an integral role within ourmanufacturing industry, where you will be responsible formaintaining and improving our high standards of cleanliness andsanitation. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity, whereyou will play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothlyand efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strongunderstanding of the Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures(SSOP), BRC, USDA, FDA, Safe Quality Food (SQF), and Lockout/Tagout(LOTO) procedures. Responsibilities As a Permanent SanitationManager, you will: 1. Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensivesanitation programs that comply with SSOP, BRC, USDA, FDA, and SQFstandards. 2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure thecleanliness and sanitation of our manufacturing facilities. 3.Train and supervise sanitation staff, ensuring they are well-versedin all necessary procedures and regulations. 4. Work closely withother department heads to develop and implement sanitationstrategies that enhance productivity and efficiency. 5. Respond tosanitation emergencies, determining the best course of action toprevent damage and ensure safety. 6. Maintain detailed records ofsanitation activities, including any issues or incidents, andreport these to senior management. 7. Stay updated on the latestindustry trends and regulations, ensuring our sanitation proceduresare always up-to-date and compliant. Qualifications The idealcandidate for the Permanent Sanitation Manager role will have: 1. Aminimum of 5 years of experience in a sanitation role within themanufacturing industry. 2. Proficiency in Spanish, with strongcommunication and interpersonal skills. 3. Extensive knowledge ofSSOP, BRC, USDA, FDA, SQF, and LOTO procedures. 4. Provenexperience in developing and implementing sanitation programs. 5.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to train and supervisestaff effectively. 6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with theability to respond quickly and effectively to sanitationemergencies. 7. A strong commitment to safety and cleanliness, witha keen eye for detail. 8. The ability to work independently andmake informed decisions. 9. A high level of physical fitness, asthis role may require lifting heavy items and working inpotentially hazardous conditions.
