The City of Laconia Public Works Department is seeking an individual to perform a variety of skilled, technical, supervisory, and administration work in the planning, construction, operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of municipal wastewater collection and distribution systems. This is very much a hands on position. Position requires a through knowledge of sewage pump station operation, maintenance, and
S.C.A.D.A.
Systems, including but not limited to alarm monitoring and response, telemetry and PLC process control. Knowledge of New Hampshire DES regulations are required. Must possess a valid NH motor vehicle operator’s license. CDL-B with tanker and air brake endorsements, or the ability to attain within six months of employment is required. Starting rate will be based on the candidate’s skills and experience. Positions Salary Range $24.83 – $31.75 Minimum Qualifications include three (3) years of experience related to the construction, repair and maintenance of wastewater collection or treatments systems OR any combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
