Chief Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH 03867 The City of Rochester, NH Department of Public Works is accepting applications for a full-time Chief Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to perform administrative and supervisory work in directing the operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and industrial pretreatment program (IPP) plus technical work in the planning, operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of municipal wastewater treatment systems. Education and Experience Requirements
- Associate degree in civil or sanitary engineering
- Ten years of experience in wastewater
- Five years of supervisory experience in a public utility or an equivalent combination of education and experience Special Requirements
- Possession of a NH Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator License, Grade IV
- Possession of a NEWEA Collection System Operator License, Grade IV
- Possession of a NEWEA Wastewater Laboratory Analyst License, Grade I
- Possession of a valid driver’s license RMID grade 11; Annual pay range $74,503.
89 to $100,410.49 dependent upon qualifications and experience. Pre-employment testing to include criminal, driving record, medical & drug screen.
