Water Treatment Technician Water Engineering Services Inc Elmwood Park, NJ 07407 Here at Water Engineering Services, inc. we are looking for a self-sufficient, organized and ambitious Water Treatment Technician to join our team! As a Technician, you will provide regular service to multiple accounts. Looking for candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments. We are a private owned Water Treatment and Legionella Company focused on treating and servicing the NJ, DE and NYC metropolitan area. We are leaders in the industry for Legionella Compliance and regularly work with the DOH. Experience working in Water Treatment, Chemical Treatment/Engineering, or Legionella Administration preferred

Water Treatment Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

Regular maintenance and service to accounts Standard testing of water systems with adjustments of chemicals as needed Checking in with customers and maintaining customer satisfaction and communication Completion of service reports Knowledge of accounts Regular maintenance and servicing of cooling towers, boilers, closed loops and softener systems Occasional cooling tower cleanings Installing controllers and piping in relation to water treatment system Occasional water sampling and legionella testing Domestic water sterilization

Water Treatment Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

2-3+ years of proven experience in either plumbing or water treatment services (preferred) Clean driving record (must be able to drive when needed) Preferably live in the NYC/Metro area to arrive early for service of accounts Knowledge of water systems and procedures Punctual, must be able to be on time (make it between 7am-9am for account service) A self-starter that has high initiation and problem-solving skills Computer efficient Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player Good time-management skills Strong organizational skills Consistency Great interpersonal and communication skills Experience with or knowledge of cooling towers, closed loops, boilers and softeners (preferred) Occasional weekend availability for tower cleanings or other various projects Accountability and transparency

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$25.00 – $32.00 per hour
