Job DetailsJob Details:

We are currently seeking an experienced and highlyskilled Permanent Lead Collection System Operator for an excitingopportunity in the Engineering industry. This key role will beresponsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance ofthe wastewater collection system. The successful candidate willdemonstrate a solid understanding of wastewater systems and willhave a proven track record in managing and leading teams. This is afull-time, permanent position that offers a challenging andrewarding work environment with opportunities for professionalgrowth and development.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the dailyoperations of the wastewater collection system, ensuring compliancewith local, state, and federal regulations. 2. Lead and manage ateam of operators, providing training, guidance, and support asnecessary. 3. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of thecollection system, identifying and resolving any issues ormalfunctions. 4. Develop and implement efficient operationalprocedures and protocols, striving for continuous improvement. 5.Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders on projects andinitiatives related to the wastewater collection system. 6. Monitorand analyze system performance data, making necessary adjustmentsto optimize efficiency and effectiveness. 7. Ensure the safety andwell-being of all team members, promoting a culture of safety andcompliance. 8. Manage the budget for the wastewater collectionsystem, ensuring cost-effective operations. 9. Stay current withindustry trends and advancements, implementing best practices inwastewater system operations.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 yearsof experience in wastewater systems operation and management. 2.Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulationspertaining to wastewater systems. 3. Proven leadership and teammanagement skills, with a focus on training and development. 4.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshootcomplex system issues. 5. Strong communication and interpersonalskills, with the ability to work effectively with team members,other departments, and external stakeholders. 6. Proficient in theuse of computer systems and software for data analysis andreporting. 7. Certified as a Collection System Operator orequivalent is highly desirable. 8. Demonstrated commitment tosafety and compliance in the workplace. 9. Ability to managebudgets and resources effectively, with a focus on cost-efficiency.10.
