We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused, experienced Welder. Railcar Maintenance and Repair Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair freight railcars in accordance with federal regulations and company standards. This role is critical in ensuring the operational safety, reliability, and performance of our railcar fleet.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, structural, and safety issues on railcars. Repair or replace components such as valves, gaskets, brakes, couplers, wheels, and structural elements. Cut, weld, and fabricate metal parts as necessary using approved technique

First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm)
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various types of freight railcars (e.g., tank cars, hoppers, boxcars, flatcars). Welder (experienced)
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred. 1-3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, welding, or related field (rail experience preferred). Certification in welding (e.g., stick, MIG, TIG) is a plus. Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Must pass background check, drug screening, and physical exam.
