Job Description
The Welder candidate will be responsible for fitting and welding parts using information from production drawings, shop travelers and work instructions as required utilizing MIG welder, fixtures and basic welding tools to meet print specifications. Responsible for setting appropriate welding machine parameters for material being welded, making welds to meet print specifications. Responsible for producing strong penetrated welds that are smooth, non-porous and consistent. Follow required procedures and use appropriate fixtures to assist in assembly process. Basic operation of robotic weld cell as assigned. Verify conformance of finished part to print specifications and quality standards. Responsible for properly using and maintaining tools, fixtures and machines as well as keeping work area clean and orderly.
