Essential Duties:
Demonstrates the competencies of a welder I Must be AWS certified in aluminum 6061 and 5052 3G
- 050/.063/.125 TIG 3G
- 125/.250 MIG Must be AWS certified in current steel production 3G-18Ga& 10Ga TIG 3F
- 18Ga & 10Ga TIG/MIG Must be AWS certified in structural steel production
- 281 wall to 2.25 bar stock (towbar) 1F
- 031 TIG/MIG 1G
- 031 fillet TIG Must be AWS certified in all current stainless production 3G-22Ga & 18Ga TIG Able to operate the Jetline welder Performs operator maintenance on equipment Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted Performs cycle counting of parts and material handling duties as required Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization Adheres to all quality and safety standards Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:
High School diploma or GED preferred. In lieu of preferred diploma, relevant work experience demonstrating the required job skills and abilities needed to successfully perform the job 1-3 years of industry related experience Must be able to speak, read and understand English Ability to work from verbal and written instructions Ability to obtain AWS Certification in all above welding areas Operation of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure equipment Goal oriented and team focused to ensure completion of projects in a timely manner
