Job Description
Responsibilities:
Welding Operations:
Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding. Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
Material Preparation:
Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and shaping metal components. Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Safety Compliance:
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Wear appropriate protective gear, including helmets, gloves, and safety glasses.
Quality Control:
Conduct inspections and tests to ensure welds are strong and meet specifications. Repair and rework defective welds as needed.
Maintenance:
Maintain welding equipment and tools, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues. Keep work area clean and organized.
