We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for laying out, positioning, aligning, fitting, and welding fabricated parts for structural metal products in a shop environment. You’ll work primarily from blueprints and use a variety of tools and fixtures to assemble frames, bodies, and some machinable parts.
salary:
$18 – $26 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 5 AM – 1:30 PM
education: High School Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Set up and use face blocks, jigs, and fixtures as needed. Mark centerlines and reference points on work surfaces and transfer them to workpieces. Weld and assemble metal structures using MIG, arc, and gas welding techniques. Operate hand tools, grinders, clamps, jacks, and torches safely and efficiently. Ensure accuracy in measurements and final assembly using measuring devices. The essential functions of this role include:
