TOOLS REQUIRED JOB DUTIES
Performs machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication and extrusion, tube bending and fabrication tasks.
Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks.
Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
Assembles, repairs, modifies and installs various power plants and drive trains.
Perform soldering on electronic and avionics products.
Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products.
Prepares test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests.
Performs organic chemical conversion and paint preparation.
Applies organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements.
Works on complex components and systems using established drawings and requirements. Describe the project/day-to-day activities they will be working on:
Team is seeking 6 mechanics total. Seeking 2 orbital tube welders and 4 tube installers are.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED and typically 4 or more years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 2 orbital tube welders Must be certified – orbital tube weld certification
Must have experience with tube installation, this is a plus +
Boeing experience is a plus 4 tube installers Must have experience with tube installation
Boeing experience is a plus Physical demands (if any): Must be comfortable in a small, confined space. As well as agile and flexible.
Weight limit of 250 lb on panel they will be working on
