Shipfitter 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Cape Canaveral, FL Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Ship Fitters / Welders for immediate hire in Tampa, FL.

3+ months Ship fitter / welder
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as stick welding and plasma cutting.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding specifications.
- Operate power tools and hand tools to prepare materials for welding.
- Use calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions.
- Inspect welds for quality and make necessary repairs or adjustments. “`Experience“`
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding.
- Proficient in stick welding and plasma cutting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Familiarity with basic math calculations.
- Experience using power tools and hand tools.
