• Job Description:

• We are looking for a talented TIG Welder to join our dynamic team. This role involves welding sheet metal products with precision and expertise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TIG welding, blueprint reading, flame cutting, and operating TIG welding equipment. Maintaining a clean and organized work area while adhering to the manufacturing schedule is essential.

• Responsibilities:

• + Perform TIG welding on sheet metal products.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and drawings. + Utilize flame cutting or burning techniques. + Set up and operate TIG welding equipment, including stud welders and oxy/acetylene torches. + Weld light gauge metals uniformly and consistently. + Report defective materials to the supervisor. + Maintain visual inventory of parts and supplies on the shop floor. + Keep the work area clean and organized. + Complete tasks as directed while keeping up with the manufacturing schedule.

• Essential Skills:

• + Minimum of 1 year of TIG welding experience. + Experience with various metals including sheet metal, steel, and aluminum. + Ability to read blueprints, specs, and machine sheets. + Experience with MIG welding and fabrication. + Mechanically inclined and proficient with hand tools.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Preferred 2-5 years of experience using a torch set. + Ability to weld metals with straight lining. + Experience with flux core and stick welding is a plus.

• Work Environment:

• This position is based on a warehouse/production floor that can be hot and does not have air conditioning. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with the possibility of working on Saturdays depending on the workload. The expected work hours range from 40 to 55 hours per week. Welders must have their own hood, chipping hammer, and wire cutters.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $22.65 – $22.65/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
