Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Welding Manager to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to specified dimensions using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret project blueprints to understand project specifications
- Perform welding tasks including cutting, grinding, and assembling metal components
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure they meet company standards
- Conduct repairs as needed to ensure the integrity of the welds
- Maintain welding equipment in good working condition
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
- Familiarity with a variety of welding equipment and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective gear
- Welding experience on land and sea
