Welder

Welder Shift/Hours:
Monday•Friday, first shift, 8:00-5:00 PM
Pay Range:
$16/hr•$19/hr

Responsibilities and Requirements include:
Support skilled welders by preparing materials and equipment for upcoming projects.
Execute fundamental welding tasks, such as tack welding and fillet welds, under close supervision.
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of welding equipment.
Interpret basic blueprints and welding diagrams to accurately complete assignments.
Conduct quality checks on welds to confirm they meet required specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of welding equipment and the work area.
Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures.
Provide assistance with various shop duties including grinding, cutting, and moving materials.
Welder /
Fabricator Qualifications:
Minimum of 6+ months experience preferred.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications is a plus.
Comprehensive knowledge of metal fabrication procedures.
Thorough understanding of various metals, their properties, and specific welding requirements.
Physical capability and endurance necessary to handle metal components and perform work in a physically demanding environment.
Welding certification or vocational training in welding is highly desirable.
