Job Overview:
CCS Construction Staffing is now hiring experienced Welders for a school project in Orlando, FL. We are looking for dependable welders who can pass a skills test on day one and are interested in ongoing work across multiple projects. While JLA clearance is not required for this site, candidates are encouraged to obtain JLA badging for future job site mobility. Spanish-speaking applicants are welcome, and 6G certification is preferred but not required.
Job Duties:
Perform structural and pipe welding on commercial school construction projects
Weld various metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials
Follow weld procedures and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
Maintain safe work practices and use proper PPE
Demonstrate welding ability during Day 1 skills test
Requirements:
Proven experience in structural or pipe welding
6G certification preferred, but not required
Must bring own welding tools and full PPE (hard hat, vest, gloves, safety glasses, boots)
Reliable transportation and punctuality
Willingness to obtain a JLA badge for future assignments
Spanish speakers welcome
