We’re hiring for a full-time, first-shift position in our Welding Department, where you’ll work four 10-hour days (Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), with overtime ready when you are. This is a hands-on, high-skill role for serious welders only — and yes, you must pass all required weld tests to be considered. $46,000 – $61,999.99 per year

work hours: 6:30 AM – 5 PM
education: High School Responsibilities You must complete all applicable tests in order to be considered. This is a full-time 1st shift position in the Welding Department TIG Welding Stainless Steel 1st shift hours will be 4 days a week 10 hours a day being Mon – Thurs OR Tues-Fri 6:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. with overtime available.

Responsibilities:

• Joins, fabricates and repairs stainless steel metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques
• Precision Tig Stainless Steel pipe and plate .060 to 1.00 inch
• Excellent welding heat control
• Keep work area organized to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  Competencies & Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty preferred
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area/school
• Ability to read and interpret welding symbols, blueprints and schematics
• Comfortable welding in 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G AND 6G positions
• Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment, until AC is installed later this year.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and remain on feet for long periods of time
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Displays a positive attitude
• Must have excellent, verifiable attendance history The essential functions of this role include:
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week Skills

• 1G-6G (4 years of experience is preferred)
