$18 – $24 per hour (based upon experience)

7:00AM-3:30PM

SCHEDULE

Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 40 hours per week. Workdays will be Monday- Friday.

Permanent SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Fabrication Manger, the responsibilities of the Welder / Fabricator position include fitting and joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques in accordance with product specifications and production schedules.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform welding duties using a wire fed welder. .035 Hard Wire Weld steel components with welding equipment as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions. Work includes set-up, laying out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finished products. Work with fitters or fitters/welders to assist in the fabrication or welding of multi-component parts. Operate forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the job’s needs. Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications. Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and/or work orders. Perform a variety of complicated tasks, as required. General Physical Requirements for an employee in this Position are as follows Max Weight Lifting up to 60lbs Walking 7-10 hours per day Repetitive Lifting up to 35lbs Standing 7-10 hours per day Lifting Over Head up to 35lbs Sitting up to 1 hour per day Carrying Up to 35lbs Crawling up to 1 hour per day Pushing or Pulling with 75lbs of force Kneeling up to 4 hours per day Pinching or Gripping up to 15lbs of force Squatting up to 1 hour per day Reaching away from body Climbing and working from ladder (rare) This position requires a lot of repetitive motion: Deadlifting up to 35lbs objects from floor to chest level Gripping and holding up to 15lbs away from body Twisting wrists and hands to apply clamps Pushing and or pulling with up to 75lbs of force using full body or isolated muscle groups Bending/Twisting/Stooping Constantly throughout the day This position also requires the operation of heavy equipment such as: 6,000 – 16,000lbs Forklift (Must be able to climb into cab) 1 ton Jib Cranes (Push and Pull Operated) 10 ton overhead crane 40 ton

Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, welding hood, safety glasses, and gloves
