This role requires proficiency in various welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints, ensuring that all welding tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform welding tasks using manual and semiautomatic equipment (including MIG, TIG, and other standard methods) across various positions — vertical, horizontal, and overhead — depending on project requirements. Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical documentation to ensure accurate execution of work. Fabricate and assemble metal structures by following detailed project specifications. Utilize electrical and manual tools such as calipers, squares, and gauges for measuring, aligning, and fitting materials. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to verify weld quality and structural integrity. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment, strictly adhering to company and industry safety protocols. Collaborate with other team members to support project timelines and assist with handling materials or components as needed. Qualifications Proven hands-on experience in welding, including use of manual and semiautomatic equipment in multiple positions (flat, vertical, horizontal, overhead). Strong ability to interpret blueprints and follow welding instructions and specifications precisely. Skilled in using a range of fabrication tools, both powered and manual, for layout, cutting, and assembly. Familiarity with quality standards and inspection methods related to welding work. High attention to detail, commitment to precision, and strong problem-solving abilities. Capable of working independently and contributing effectively within a fast-paced team environment. English communication skills are required for interpreting instructions and maintaining safety compliance. Completion of an accredited welding apprenticeship or formal technical training is required.
