Fabricator/Welder Cobb Industrial Fabricators 4285 Mcever Industrial Drive NW, Acworth, GA 30101 We are looking for an experienced fabricator for a custom machinery fabrication facility. We are looking to fill jobs at Acworth GA. A minimum of two (2) years experience in a fabrication working environment is required. Welding experience must include

MIG, TIG.

Industry experience in Job Shop, Metal/Sheet Metal facilities required. Welding Certification and Millwright experience is a definite plus. Must be able to read and interpret drawings/blue prints. Be knowledgeable in all aspects of fabrication including the following: Welding – TIG, Stainless Steel, MIG, Stainless/Mild Steel Proficient with plasma cutter and Ironworker to ensure proper fit Blueprint reading – Must be able to identify and gather components Fabricate assemblies from engineered drawings with minimal supervision Set up, Fitting, Squaring and Holding dimensions of projects having several parts Knowledge of a variety of structural members (beams, channel, angle, brackets, flat bar, custom made supports Layout of holes, cut outs, notches, etc. to specified dimensions and within noted tolerances. Drilling and tapping holes for mounting equipment Mechanical assembly of purchased components Ability to plan work and keep projects on schedule Able to recognize and uphold standards, take pride in your work Must be punctual as well as presentable to prospective customers Must be able to pass a drug screen and Pre-employment physical Must be Drug Free Salary is based on experience
