Mig Welder Position Available In Cobb, Georgia

MIG Welder Powder Springs, GA 6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. M_F $18 -$20 hr.

Position Summary:

Responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling metal projects using an electric Arc and insert gas. Essential Functions (Other duties as assigned):

• Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining appropriate metals in accordance with specs
• Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage
• Testing strength of each weld/join during and after project completion
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Must communicate and understand instructions and safety procedures
• Must be able to determine appropriate gas ratios
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Required Skills:

• Sound understanding of welding safety
• Mig welding experience preferred
• Basic math skills (Generally counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good organizational skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to be punctual
• Good attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to meet production goals and deadlines
