Aluminum TIG Welder Position Available In Orleans, Louisiana

Job Title:

TIG Welder Job Description Join our team as a TIG Welder, where you will be an integral part of the Ship to Shore Connector program. You will be responsible for welding 3mm plates and engaging in mirror welding tasks. Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on 3mm aluminum plates. Engage in mirror welding tasks. Read and interpret blueprints and sketches to perform welding operations. Execute welding tasks with precision and efficiency in a shipyard environment. Essential Skills Three plus years of related TIG aluminum welding experience. Experience in MIG welding is preferred but not required. Formal craft training with proficiency in shop mathematics. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mirror welding experience is preferred. Demonstrated skills through successful completion of a welding test. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.75 – $28.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
