Shifts Available and Hours:
Day shift 5AM to 1
PM Job Responsibilities:
Fluent in reading a tape measure.
Set up assembly-line-style welding for faster production, handling several hundred welds within a single shift. Identify proper welding wire and alloy for the applicable base metal.
Change wire, rollers, tips, diffusers, and nozzles, and set up proper tension on rollers.
Set the proper welding parameters (voltage and wire speed).
Demonstrate competency in GMAW techniques with solid wire on aluminum in the Flat, Horizontal and Vertical Fillet Positions.
Demonstrate competency in post-welding treatment (e.g., brushing, cleaning, straightening, and ensuring weld quality).
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience with aluminum welds and the ability to pass a Welding Performance Test conducted on-site during the interview process (Q.A. determination).
Must demonstrate the ability to safely lift 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for 8 hours or more per day.
Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled temperatures for 8 hours or more per day.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
