Job Title:

Welder Job Description We are seeking a skilled Steel MIG, TIG, and Flux Welder to work in a covered shop environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG, TIG, flux core, and steel welding, and be proficient in fabrication and blueprint reading. Will need to pass a 2G and 3G steel plate test utilizing MIG, TIG, and Flux core. Responsibilities Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel and stainless steel materials. Read and interpret blueprints and sketches to ensure accurate welding and fabrication. Utilize flux core and aluminum welding techniques when necessary. Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and quality control. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently. Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures in the shop. Essential Skills 3 years of experience in MIG welding. 3 years of experience in TIG welding. 5 years of experience in steel welding. Proficiency in blueprint reading and shop mathematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Formal craft training is preferred. Ability to pass a welding test to demonstrate skills. Experience in fabrication and aluminum welding. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position operates in an outdoor covered production/shop environment with approximately 230 people employed at this location. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.20 – $27.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
