The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and be proficient in working with different materials, including sheet metal and pipes. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met while adhering to safety protocols. Duties Perform welding tasks using various methods, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Utilize tools such as micrometers and calipers for precise measurements. Build and assemble metal components for cranes and other machinery. Conduct pipe threading operations as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Experience Proven experience in welding, particularly with sheet metal and pipe fabrication. Familiarity with welding equipment and tools, including micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices. Strong understanding of basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience operating cranes is a plus but not mandatory.
