Competitive Starting Wage with Shift Differential(2nd and 3rd shift ) These associates will be responsible for usinghand-welding, flame-cutting, hand-soldering, or brazing equipmentto weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, orseams of fabricated metal products. Qualifications VocationalTraining in place of experience will be considered.

RequiredQualifications:

High School diploma or GED required. Weldingknowledge through experience or vocational school training. Abilityto pass a preliminary weld test and ability to complete AWS D1.1Code certification within 60 days after being placed in a weldingposition. Able and willing to work Off-shift – mostly 3rd shift.

Welding, cutting and/or fabrication of metal parts. Wire feedwelding, MIG or TIG welding. The successful candidate will have ahigh regard for safety and enjoy working in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

Welds using MIG processes. Demonstrated abilityto cut with a torch or plasma. Demonstrated ability to readblueprints and diagrams and determine critical dimensions andtolerances using measuring tools. Read and comprehend blueprints,process routings, and schematics for installation of various truckand body components – large and small – onto truck chassis usingtorch, welder, winches, and hand tools. Performs re-work asrequired. Provide quality and timely workmanship on each work orderand maintain daily time standards. Demonstrated ability to followestablished safety and quality procedures. Team concept, beflexible to move from job to job to support the schedule. MajorResponsibilities Provides quality and timely workmanship on eachjob performed. Maintains clean and orderly materials and workenvironment and Follows all established safety, environmental andquality policies, and practices.
