Welder, 2nd shift, 5an hour. MIG Weld 0.035 and 0.045 hard wire.

DESCRIPTION

Produce high quality products and services for ourcustomers. You will monitor production output and ensure thatproducts meet customer specifications and quality expectations. Youwill be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe andefficient operation of the area. Responsibilities will include, butare not limited to, fabricating and repairing metal and otherweldable materials by applying appropriate weld techniques andmonitor assembly and continuous process improvement at the site toaddress safety, production, and adherence to quality.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES
  • Demonstrated ability to follow direction, readweld symbols, schematics, and blueprints.
  • An ability to select,measure, cut and join appropriate metals to specifications.
  • Prepare metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effectiveassemblage.
  • Regularly clean and inspect welding equipment andtools.
  • Safe operation of forklift and all other lift assist andtools.
  • Test each assembly to ensure proper fit and function.
  • Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
  • Accuratelytrack and log assembly time sheets for each project.
  • Properlyidentify and document QMS and department procedure.
  • Maintain workarea for cleanliness.
  • Adherence to all safety standards and plantrules.
  • Test strength of each join during and after projectcompletion.
  • Liaise with leadership to report issues andcontinuously improve processes.
  • Utilize tape measures, calipers,squares, micrometers, and protractors.
  • Safe operation of theforklift, scissor lift and all other lift assist and tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Technicaleducation is a plus.
  • Must pass weld test.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, includingstanding, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least40 pounds.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is a plus WEVALUE
  • 3 years of experience in industrial assembly. (Class 1)
  • 1year experience in industrial assembly. (Class 2)
  • Mechanicalaptitude, mathematical and problem-solving ability
  • An ability totroubleshoot and multi-task on projects.
  • Working knowledge andexperience using hand tools.

MIG Weld 0.045 and 0.035 hard wire.
