ZIEHL-ABEGG
is looking for a high energy and results-oriented —Weld Fitter who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company. The purpose of this role is to work alongside the welding department by fabricating layouts and fitting metal components to assist with production. Weld Fitter Your main responsibilities will be: Clean fan blades Repair impellers Pressing blades and covered discs Operate flange machine Positioning and connecting parts by hand in preparation for welding Cleaning components and finished parts Correcting weld seams using Tig welder Using specialized equipment such as torches, presses, and robotics Banding and strapping pallets in preparation for shipment Using precision measurement equipment Staging parts Operating a forklift & pallet jack Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Maintain a clean and organized work area MIG welding experience (beneficial) TIG welding experience (beneficial) Production background Working with hand tools Inventory control Detail oriented in a fast paced environment, familiar with metric system Heavy lifting (50lbs – 70lbs), operating a crane We offer: Tuition Reimbursement Program- We encourage team members to continue their education to support their current or future work.
