The PCX Welder I
All work adheres to engineering and quality specifications and is performed according to PCX safety standards.
A Day In The Life
Must follow PCX safety guidelines and requirements
Fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques and operating various welding devices.
Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine appropriate welding process with assistance from supervision.
Being a Welder I inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness.
Familiar with and complies with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous environment.
Welder I may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.

High School diploma (or equivalence) preferred.
Able to lift 35# consistently.
Ability to work 10 hours or more per day and weekends as required.
