What You Need:
5-7 years of experience in
GTAW/MIG
welding on stainless steel.
Experience with machine shop tools and metal fabrication.
Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering blueprints.
Experience with vacuum systems and/or thin wall tubing is a significant plus.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work overtime as required.
What Your Role Will Look Like:
The Welder will oversee and participate in the fabrication and assembly of custom industrial furnace systems. This role requires a high level of expertise in GTAW and MIG welding on stainless steel, as well as experience with machine shop tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead and supervise a team.
Welding and Fabrication:
Perform GTAW and MIG welding on stainless steel components.
Fabricate and assemble furnace systems according to engineering blueprints and specifications.
Handle vacuum and thin wall tubing (< 3/16" wall thickness) when required.
Supervision and Leadership:
Lead and supervise a team of welders and fabricators.
Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
Machine Shop Tools:
Utilize machine shop tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal components.
Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
Blueprint Reading:
Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
Ensure fabricated parts meet design specifications and tolerances.
Interdepartmental Interaction:
Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and other departments to ensure seamless production processes.
Communicate effectively with all levels within the company.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Perform necessary adjustments and corrections to maintain high-quality output.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Ensure team members follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
